Again lifes not fair, deal with it. If it truly bothers you stop complaining and do something about it. I however am perfectly content to enjoy the fruits of my labor. If I work 50-60 hours a week, why then must I feel bad for someone who does not work at all?

These pools are great! Not sure what all the fuss is about.

Did you ever think about the people who were employed to build these pools? Or the houses they are in?  If I had the money I'd build one myself and hire all my friends in the construction business who are right now sitting around doing nothing because they have no work. After it was done, I'd invite them all over for a big pool party!

just wondering who paid for this nice pools, on the backs of some poor family trying to get ahead enough to make their rent, food or medicine. I don't mind people having things nice . When people who are working for some of these people tell them they are asking to much for a wage increase when they are lucky to make ends meet. i have seen this before.  Pretty pools inside, kind of reminds me of the Roman Empire

These seem to be wonderful pools and places to live, but has anyone thought about the actual cost to the culture and person living there? What are they trying to prove? The money was used to pursue the occupants personal vanity and they failed to consider the reality of the lives of others around them. How can the occupants find solace in their perfect lives when others lack?  It looks like these places could support a greater good of many people and their families by housing, rest , exercise, and fellowship. How many people could have health insurance if this place was never built and the economic resources retasked? What happens to the depth of a soul when they fail to consider their social context? It is very wonderful, but it seems also a gross show....

I am not one of the affluent, however, I am very impressed with the way the money was spent in these pictures. The truth is if the reader Bill could afford to own a home at such level he/she would.
The architect engineer deserved every penny he or she charged. All homes are great sources of practical art.

Thank you Brian B! I whole heartedly agree with you on the fact tefa tefa is the kind of immigrant we need! Your not going to see many whining OccupyWallStreet's solicitating their talents unless its to whine in front of a camera. Bill, on the matter of MSN flaunting wealth, you are the one who chose to read it so dont complain.

So people are in emergency shelters, in poverty, yet watching the Kardasians, and borsing million dollars real estate on the web... in shelters?  That's how you get back on your feet people.

Read tefa tefa's comment. While some supposed Americans citizens consume themselves with envy and resentment, this young Egyptian sees an economic opportunity and takes initiative to offer his talents and services to make some good money himself.   That's the kind of immigrant we need in this country. I'd hire him in a heartbeat and not these contemptible pitiable whiners. Bravo!

Ernstberger, your comment might pass Marxism 101 but it wouldn't pass muster in Logic 101. Jeez, some people have more money than others. So what? The USA is supposed to be about  Equal Opportunity. People like you want to make it about Equal Outcomes which scares the hell out of me.

so scammic, your point is? you want to add pool building company employees to the impoverished list?  I can't afford a yacht or any of these houses, why should I resent the ones who can? Only OWS slugs and marxists do that. And in communist countries the leaders live like that too while the average guy doesn't even have indoor plumbing that works.

With approximately fifty percent of the country's population hovering at the poverty level, with three million men, women and children, not just bums (though "bums" are human beings too!), seeking emergency shelters in this "land of the free," it is inconceivable why on earth any self-respecting organization, MSN Real Estate not withstanding, would choose to flaunt such obscene wealth in the faces of so many without even the most basic of human needs, that of a roof over their heads.

However, I am certain that if one were to speak with the owners of these dens of ostentation, they would do their level best to assure us that they "earned it." Believe that, and I've a bridge in the center of the Mojave I would be happy to sell you.

I'm sure the majority of the people who have these indoor pools worked hard and earned it, just like some people in poverty( not counting children) didnt work hard and deserve their current economic status. Now I'm not saying everyone in poverty is a bum, because sometimes life throws you a curveball and you strikeout. But once you have struck out, its up to you to go back up their and keep swinging or sit on your butt and pout. So stop your whining about how lifes not fair and the 1% are evil. Your probably one of the OccupyWallStreet people who instead of actively looking for a job, were sitting outside complaining. Clearly they deserve to fail if they cant understand the concept that life is not fair, so grow up.

Where the water's always great: 13 homes with indoor pools

By Christopher Solomon of MSN Real Estate
In the dead of winter we know where your mind wanders: to warm, soothing waters. But where to find them, outside of Hawaii?
If you have the money, look inside instead. Some high-end homes in cold places come with their own warm-water sanctuary. Of course, an amenity like this doesn't come cheap. So pick up a Lotto ticket, grab your water wings and check out this baker's dozen of dream homes for sale around the nation.
